FAQ
Given the sudden change to all our daily lives and with the current restriction set in place by the government, the ICC will begin to offer online Drop-in classes. We hope these classes will be a healthy break from the trying times we are all experiencing now and offer a chance to unify in these times of social distancing.
WHAT PLATFORM ARE YOU USING?
The ICC will be using a platform called zoom. This is a platform that has been tried and tested for a wide range of teaching and seminar-style workshops. It offers a wide range of features that enable the teacher to facilitate the best possible experience for students. You will be sent an email with a link after purchasing a ticket giving you access to the platform. Then you simply have to follow the on-screen guide.
HOW WILL CLASSES BE DIFFERENT?
It’s the ICC’s aim to make our online classes just as fun as our regular classes. There will certainly be some things which are harder and more challenging, but it is our experience that the online format also offers some new opportunities. The class size will be limited to twelve to provide the best experience for all students. We will also have an extra focus on the nature of the scenes in class, so as not to provoke any anxiety or make light of the seriousness of the current situation we are in.
WILL THE ICC ONLY OFFER DROP-IN CLASSES?
For the moment, yes. We are still learning how to use this new medium and how it can work with regard to an improv class setting. Should the situation continue for longer than expected, we will consider offering other types of classes and courses. If you have any further questions or other thoughts, then please write to us on the email address below.

IS IT JUST FOR DANISH PARTICIPANTS?
Currently, all ICC online classes will be conducted in English. This means that they are open to anyone from anywhere provided they have some improv experience.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE THE SESSION?
When you click on the link, your computer should do the rest for you. We highly recommend that you use a laptop rather than a tablet and please be in a private room where you will not be disturbed and have a bit of room to move, and make sure that your device is well charged. Please use a headset with a mic and that’s it!
