Time: Wednesdays, 17:30 – 20:30
Location: ICC Training Centre, Løngangstræde 37B, København

This includes a class trip to the ICC Theatre (free show). This is the advanced ‘Harold’ course which will define for your team the type of Harold you want to perform and how you run a show. Level 5 is as much technical as creative, looking at the performer’s relationship with the audience, and the practicalities of putting on a long-form performance as a team.

What will I learn?

You will hone physical performance skills with the audience perspective in mind, work on stage pictures, tempo adjustment, mirroring scenes, different types of edit, in fact, any number of techniques that can make your Harold as diverse and interesting as possible.

What will I do in this class?

As well as continuing to apply all the skills you have acquired so that they become second nature to you, under the constant coaching of your teacher you will run shows and analyze them, try different approaches, analyze those, to really get under the skin of what makes a great ‘Harold’ Improv show. Practice makes perfect!

Who can take this class?

Level 5 is only available as a continuation from the Level 4 course and therefore has the same age requirements (minimum 18 years).

How long is this class?

Level 5 is a 6-week course with each session lasting 3 hours.

What do I need to bring?

All you need to bring with you is clothing that you can move easily in, and notepad and pen to take down the gems of knowledge from your teacher, and an open mind.

Will there be a performance?

There will be a performance at the end of the course which will be to an invited audience of fellow improvisers and your family and friends.

Why is this class important?

Level 5 will give you and your team the confidence to perform in front of an audience of strangers. You will ‘know’ the Harold format and consistently deliver quality shows. As a team, you will have a bond that few other activities can offer. You will feel invincible. It’s showtime!
