The Character Wheel – 5-day intensive workshop with Jaime Moyer

Time: 11:00 – 17:00

The price for the workshop is Eur 390 and you can only get access to CIIF18 if you apply online first. if you have already applied to participate in Copenhagen International Improv Festival 2018, you will receive a voucher that gives you a €40 early bird discount until February 10th.
Don’t worry if you have not already registered as a festival participant you can do it here and save some money on the workshop.
Please be aware if you did not register, you will have to register anyway if you sign up for the workshops unregistered.

WORKSHOP CONTENT
Character Wheel – In this workshop Jaime will guide you in many different ways to create and sustain characters in the moment.  Through details and heightening this course will help you play characters that are different from yourself. We will also make sure we are creating characters not caricatures. A must for any improviser who would like to push themselves to create new and interesting characters and scenes – This workshop is also focusing on scene work while in character.

Teacher BIO:
Jaime Moyer is an alum of The Second City-Detroit, and received a B.A. in Theater/Communications from U of D-Mercy.  She is a current member of the acting unions SAG-AFTRA and AEA.  She is also the former Artistic Director of Planet Ant Theater.  Jaime recently appeared as neighbor Mrs. Pasternack on two episodes of Modern Family.  She has also had guest starring roles on Parks and Recreation, 2 Broke Girls, Jennifer Falls, and a recurring role on Disney’s hit show KC Undercover. She has been teaching courses in acting and improvisation since 2002.  Along with consistently teaching courses at The Second City in both Detroit and Los Angeles, Jaime has taught all over the United States including workshops at Washington Improv Theater, Dallas Comedy House, Unscrewed Theater, The Siren, Planet Ant Theater, Improv Utopia Camp, and many others.  She’s taught abroad in England at Angels Comedy, and will be teaching this May at Improv Utopia in Ireland.  Jaime can be seen performing weekly at the Second City Hollywood and iO West in Los Angeles, as well as appearing in shows at The Pack and Westside Comedy.

YES March 31st at The ICC Theatre after the main show!
