Tuesday 16. April 2019 @ 21:00 CESTDKK275 – DKK1065
This evening we take it further with one of Denmarks top improv groups “Special Klassen” (DK), followed by the famous “Murder of Crows” (DK) which will fully improvise a comedy show in the Noir genre. After the intermission, “Conner + Alastair” (CAN) will take you for a visit to a small town full of….. well we will just have to see what happens, one thing is for sure, it will be super funny. Closing the night will be “Those Who Can” (US) which is international top-shelf improvisers taking you for a hilarious ride. Come give a suggestion and put your mark on what WILL be a hilarious evening.
Special Klassen (DK) This 4 man group has been a staple in the Copenhagen improv scene for years. The group got their own improv comedy series on DR2 which won the Best Comedy Format Award in Cannes in 2013. “The laughing frequency is always high” — KBH Magazine.
Murder of Crows: An Improvised Noir (DK) Everybody cheats, everybody lies, no one can be trusted. A protagonist emerges through this narrative format and we follow their journey, and all the characters they meet in this dark and dingy world based on the film genre from the 1920’s and 40’s, with the audience providing the title. Past titles include “The Mystery of the Wet Chandelier,” “Sink the Blue Turtle” and “The Worst of the Two Deadly Sins.”
Connor + Alastair (CAN) They’ve written for television, been on television, been on radio, etc, etc, etc. They’ve done a lot of things, but making you laugh is their favourite! They’ll improvise a story exploring life in a small town, exploring different relationships featuring unique, offbeat and silly characters.
Those Who Can (US). Simply, the best of the best. Craig Cackowski, Carla Cackowski, Amanda Blake Davis, Jaime Moyer, Brian Palermo and Jay Sukow have travelled the world teaching and performing at various theatres and festivals. Their TV and film credits are too numerous to mention. They have also taught and performed for decades at the top improv schools in the US, including The Second City, The Groundlings, iO, UCB and ComedySportz.
