This show starts out strong with “Do Not Adjust Your stage” (UK) showing you just why they are among the best improv comedy groups in the UK. Then “The Fallen Sundays” (DK) invites you inside their musical universe where they will create their style of comedy and songs right on the spot. After the intermission “The Lusty Mannequins” (CAN) kick off the second part of the show with the best Improv Comedy from Canada. Closing the night will be “Those Who Can” (US) which is international top-shelf improvisers taking you for a hilarious ride. Come give a suggestion and put your mark on what WILL be a hilarious evening.
Do Not Adjust Your Stage (UK) The emphasis is on fun, with a playful energy and group scenes pivotal to performances, underpinned by scenes rooted in character and relationships. The group have performed internationally at the Del Close Marathon, Barcelona’s BIG IF, Union Hall Brooklyn, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Sweden, Estonia, and Dublin, as the only improv act at the prestigious Machynlleth Comedy Festival.
The Fallen Sundays (DK) Lights! Action! Music! The Fallen Sundays will dazzle you with a fully improvised musical comedy show, with lyrics, harmonies and choreography brilliantly created in the moment. Past shows include: “Shoes, The Musical!” “Clouds, The Musical!” and “Cookies, The Musical!”
The Lusty Mannequins (CAN) These four are alumni of the Second City Mainstage in Toronto, combining for over 60 years of comedy experience. They tour the world promoting and performing comedy. What’s their style? Think Robertson Davies throwing a cocktail party and Helena Bonham Carter, Kristen Wiig and Mr. Bean showing up. They infuse their unique comedy with a strong dose of intellectual humor.
The Teacher Team: Those Who Can (US) Simply, the best of the best. Craig Cackowski, Carla Cackowski, Amanda Blake Davis, Jaime Moyer, Brian Palermo and Jay Sukow have travelled the world teaching and performing at various theatres and festivals. Their TV and film credits are too numerous to mention. They have also taught and performed for decades at the top improv schools in the US, including The Second City, The Groundlings, iO, UCB and ComedySportz.
