Amanda Blake Davis is an award-winning improviser and off-Broadway writer.
Let’s bring the focus to one of the most popular musical improv troupes in the world! – Baby Want’s Candy! and Unbelievable A-B-D as she’s called by friends.
When we asked Jaime Moyer and Jay Sukow, who they would choose for musical improv if they had to, they both independently pointed us towards ABD. So the decision was easy and luckily, ABD was a true “Yes, and’er” when we asked her to come.
Originally from Auburn, MA, Amanda Blake Davis currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. She is an alum of The Second City etc in Chicago where she wrote and performed in five revues, including Studs Terkel’s Not Working, for which she won a Jeff Award for Best Actress in a Revue.
Writing credits include the animated series Wabbit!, and 50 Shades! The Musical, which debuted Off Broadway in 2014 and Taught, an hour long drama sold to Indigenous Media in 2016. In L.A. she performs with Baby Wants Candy (UCB Sunset) Heyday! (Westside Comedy Theater & The Second City Hollywood) and Triumph (The Second City Hollywood).
